Shelburne Craft School’s historic campus is located on Harbor Road in the beautiful village of Shelburne, Vermont. A two-story former Harness Shop houses the gallery, studio store, and offices. An old railroad bunkhouse is now the home to the school’s visual art studios and hand-building room. The Wheel Throwing room was built with the help of Aileen Webb herself. Three clay studios, a 3000-square-foot wood shop, a visual arts classroom, metals and stained glass classrooms, and the gallery are sited to form a luscious courtyard. The studios are bathed in natural light and the grounds are dotted with small sculptures and a stone wall. Adirondack chairs provide a comfortable spot to rest or converse. A large pavilion shelters the firing pits. Tours of the campus are provided upon request during office hours.
