The Shelburne Craft School believes that working with one’s hands is an essential part of a well-rounded life. We offer opportunities to learn, teach, and develop as artists, artisans, and professionals. The school serves over 2500 people a year and trains adults in craft making, for personal enrichment or as a step towards becoming professional artisans.

The school operates six core craft disciplines:

METAL, GLASS and BLACKSMITHING 

YOUTH PROGRAMS

VISITING GROUP FIELD TRIPS: Structured one to two hour experiences for groups of students to explore the Craft School’s offerings in clay, wood shop, glass, metal or fine art. COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS: We can work with any group to build a series of classes at the Craft School and/or  off-site, utilizing our skilled faculty, materials and equipment to meet individual needs.
